HSA limits for 2019

The IRS recently released the 2019 inflation adjusted amounts for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

The 2019 maximum contribution amounts will increase by $50 for individuals with self-only coverage under a high deductible plan to $3,500, while the contribution maximum for family coverage will increase by $100 to $7,000.

The High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) minimum annual deductible for will remain unchanged for 2019 at $1,350 for self-only coverage and $2,700 for family coverage. However, the 2019 maximum annual out-of-pocket limit will increase to $6,750 for self-only coverage and $13,500 for family coverage.
