HSA Limits Released for 2018

The IRS recently released the 2018 inflation adjusted amounts for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

The maximum contribution amounts for calendar year 2018 will increase by $50 for individuals with self-only coverage under a high deductible plan to $3,450, while the contribution maximum for family coverage will increase by $150 to $6,900.

The minimum annual deductible to be considered High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) will increase to $1,350 for self-only coverage and $2,700 for family coverage, while the maximum annual out-of-pocket limit will increase to $6,650 for self-only coverage and $13,300 for family coverage
