Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

State Releases FREE Training

As you probably know, California requires trainings for companies with 5 or more employees effective 1/1/2021.

The state has finally released a free version of the trainings, for both employees and supervisors.

Here are some tips on accessing the free state training.

California employers are legally required to provide one hour of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to all employees by January 1, 2021 (then every two years hereafter).

  • Please click on this link:  dfeh.ca.gov/shpt
  • Review the instructions overview on the page, then click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
  • You will have the ability to choose your language preference: English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Tagalog
  • Select “Non-supervisory”
  • Press the Play button – after each page is completed – press “next” at the bottom of the page

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please keep in mind that while you can complete this training at your own pace, the training module will not save your progress. If you refresh or reload the page, you will lose your progress toward completion.

 

Upon completion of the training, utilize the certificate of completion and follow the instructions.
